This is our 2nd generation top loading, hinged floorplate, bottom metal for the Howa Mini rifle.
We redesigned the release latch for a more positive lockup and modified the internal magaine for easier loading.
It's simple lightweight design allows you to have 4 rounds in the magazine of 6.5 grendel, 6mm ARC or 7.62x39 and 5 rounds in 223 remington or 300 blk. No accidental mag drops or cartridge dumps. Complete assembly weighs 3.5 oz.
The 223 caliber option works with 222 Remington, 204 Ruger, and additionally has been tested to work with short cartridges such as the 221 Fireball and 17 Fireball.
This bottom metal is not currently compatible with the 350 Legend.
